Pelmet 0.2.40
Fixed:
- A full menu bar is left alone. When your icons don't fit and macOS tucks
some behind its own «, Pelmet no longer drags them back, clicks that «
with your pointer, or keeps asking the system to re-show them. The
Menu Bar tab now says how many icons sit behind the « (#42, thanks
@OiCkilL). - macOS's own menu bar agents are never managed. The stop button of a
screen recording, and any other icon that comes from a system agent
rather than an app, stays where the system put it instead of being
routed to Hidden (#42, thanks @OiCkilL). - The camera & mic indicator stays where it lands when the mic comes on.
It no longer drags itself to its exact slot on your next reveal, which
read as a laggy reveal and an icon moving on its own (#39, thanks
@GianAndris). - While a Pelmet item stands in for one of macOS's own extras (camera &
mic, media, AirDrop, Focus, Timer, users), the system's version stays
hidden even with System extras set to "Show while revealed". Before,
the two swapped places on every hover (#39, thanks @GianAndris; #41,
thanks @archellino). - Pelmet's own context menu no longer ends up in the bar pictures. A
picture taken while the menu was closing could replay the menu's top
edge on the next hover (#40, thanks @richyueh). - The bar picture is retaken when Pelmet's icon has moved since it was
taken, so a placement can't leave a second chevron on screen for a
beat.
