Pelmet 0.2.36
Fixed:
- A window parked right under the menu bar left its dark edge in the bar
on every hover reveal after you moved the window away (#33, thanks @oantonov). The menu
bar is glass, and the picture Pelmet floats while icons come in carried
the old backdrop. Pelmet now retakes that picture as soon as a window
moves near the bar. - Relaunching an app in the Always hidden section flashed every hidden
icon into the bar for a moment (#31, thanks @oantonov). macOS only lets a fresh icon in
while nothing is hidden, so Pelmet has to let go for an instant; that
instant is now covered like the clock click already was. - An icon macOS itself takes down while Pelmet hides yours, because its
app runs from outside the Applications folder, vanished from Settings
too (#30). It keeps its tile, marked can't hide, so you can still see
it is there and launch it. - Clicking the purple privacy indicator to the right of the clock revealed
the hidden icons. - Separators: the invisible spacer draws its gap as a dashed slot in the
editor and in the chooser, and its popover offers a width control in
place of opacity. - A Pelmet items helper killed at login was never relaunched, leaving its
separator without a host until Pelmet restarted. Helper deaths are now
caught at the kernel and the helper comes back within a fraction of a
second. - Quitting Pelmet with the Focus item on left a log reader running.
