Superseded by v0.8.1 (RenoDX checkbox independent of engine).

0.8.0

RenoDX HDR mods. When the game is recognised (Steam app id from the library's appmanifest_*.acf, else folder / exe name, matched against RenoDX's games-index.json and wiki mod list) a RenoDX HDR mod checkbox appears with the mod's status and the wiki's note. Tick it and the game's renodx-<game>.addon64 is installed beside the DLSS 5 add-on. They coexist: ReShade only refuses two add-ons with the same name, game mods register as "RenoDX", the DLSS 5 add-on as "DLSS 5 Neural Rendering", and their ReShade.ini sections differ. Verified in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Dragon's Dogma 2. One RenoDX game mod per game (a second is refused by ReShade and both would write the same keys): the tool refuses when another is present, Remove only deletes the one it recorded. --renodx on the command line; --check names the mod it would install.

RE Engine games (Resident Evil, DMC5, Monster Hunter, SF6, Dragon's Dogma 2, Pragmata — re_chunk_000.pak next to the exe) now get praydog's monolithic REFramework dinput8.dll as the first step; without it ReShade crashes them. Removed again only if this tool placed it.

Fixes. Unreal games with a bootstrapper exe in the root (Expedition 33) now resolve to the -Shipping.exe and find the DLSS the game keeps under Plugins (was treated as a no-DLSS game). A D3D12\D3D12Core.dll (Agility SDK) next to the exe counts as DX12 even when only d3d11.dll is imported (Dragon's Dogma 2 was read as DX11 and got the bridge).
