64-bit DirectX 10 games (Crysis) on the Feeder's helper mode — beta
Crysis in 64-bit runs DirectX 10, and DLSS5-Feeder's normal 64-bit add-on has no DirectX 10 support, so the tool couldn't help (#114). DLSS5-Feeder 1.18.0-beta.1 added a 64-bit helper mode that has it: the 32-bit add-on's in-game half, built as 64-bit code.
A 64-bit DirectX 10 game with no DLSS of its own now gets it automatically. The tool lays the game out like a 32-bit one:
dlss5-feed-helper.addon64beside the exe, in place ofdlss5-feed.addon64(a normal add-on this tool placed earlier is removed);- a
host64\folder withdlss5-feed-host64.exe, a 64-bit ReShade, the DLSS 5 add-on and the two NVIDIA DLLs.
The Setup page says when a game is on this mode. Every other 64-bit game is unchanged.
It's a beta, and nobody has run it in a DirectX 10 game yet. The Feeder's author has only seen it work on Vulkan, and Crysis is the first DirectX 10 test. The install itself was tried here on a dummy 64-bit game folder: the layout matches the Feeder's README, and Remove takes all of it out again. Limits, from the Feeder: DLAA at native size only (no work-resolution scaling), and no Direct3D 12. If it fails, Save report and attach the zip: it includes dlss5-feed.log and host64\dlss5-feed-host.log, which say why.
Fixes
- Remove left an empty-looking
host64\folder behind (it held one of the tool's own marker files). That affected 32-bit installs too.
Everything from v0.14.6 is included.
