Multi-frame generation without DLSS 5
Under Show advanced options there is a new tick, Multi-frame generation only, and --engine=mfg on the command line (#122). It installs dashdogy's Universal RTXMFG and nothing else: no DLSS 5, no ReShade, no add-ons. The game needs DLSS Frame Generation of its own.
- The tool downloads the newest RTXMFG release and places
RTXMFG.dllasdxgi.dllin a DirectX 11/12 game, version.dllin a Vulkan one, andwinmm.dllfor The Witcher 3 on DirectX, as the mod's README asks. - A copy you renamed yourself (any of the mod's supported names) is found by its contents and updated where it is. For a game that needs another name than the default, rename the DLL and press Install or Update.
- A file of that name that the tool did not place (ReShade, OptiScaler, DXVK, another mod) is never overwritten: the install stops and says to remove it first.
- Install and Update refresh it when a new RTXMFG release is out, the card shows UPDATE, and Remove takes out only the file the tool placed. Picking ReShade, OptiScaler or the AIO on such a game removes the RTXMFG copy first, since they need the same file name.
- 64-bit DirectX 11/12 and Vulkan games only. In game, Backspace opens the RTXMFG menu.
It is experimental: it was installed, updated and removed on a test folder with the real download, but not run in a game from here. If the menu does not show up in a game, tell me the game and the file name that worked.
Everything from v0.14.11 is included.
