The Games page opens with your set-up games already showing, and sorts
Faster start. The tool used to re-inspect every game one by one before it could say which ones it had set up, so "Installed by this tool" stayed empty for about a minute on a big library. It now keeps the last known state of each game on disk and draws the cards from that the moment the window opens. The full check runs in the background, games this tool changed first, and corrects anything that moved. The first start after updating has nothing saved yet, so it looks like before once.
Sorting. The Games page had no order you could rely on. It is now alphabetical, and the Sort button switches to newest install first. The choice is remembered.
Warning mark. The "!" on a card (shaders missing, or the game installed in the wrong folder) sat under the Install / Re-install button. It is now at the top right, under the DirectX chip.
Card refresh. A card now refreshes itself when an install or Remove started from the Setup page finishes. Before, only an install started from the card's own button did, and the others left it showing the old setup until a Rescan.
DirectX version of games that hide it
Unity and Unreal games load Direct3D at run time, so the exe shows no API and about half of the games on one test machine read as unknown and were treated as DirectX 12.
- When the exe says nothing, the game's own log from its last run is read: Unity's
Player.logand Unreal'sSaved\Logs. - For a Steam game that is still unknown, the PCGamingWiki page for its app ID is asked, which settles it when it names exactly one Direct3D version. Only the app ID is sent, nothing is sent from the window itself, and
DLSS5ONECLICK_NO_PCGW=1turns it off. On that machine it settled 28 of 62 unknown Steam games.
Game Pass. The launch stub gamelaunchhelper.exe was picked as the game in protected Game Pass installs and let locked copies past the lock check. It is skipped now, and a folder with nothing else readable gets the Game Pass message.
