Release candidates on request, and no more updating backwards
Include release candidates
Under Show advanced options, the RenoDX DLSS 5 add-on now has an "include release candidates" tick. With it on, installs and updates take the newest add-on build, release candidate or not (7.0.0-rc8 today), and keep following new ones. It is saved, so it applies to every game. On the command line: --addon=rc (#77).
Never backwards
0.14.0 installs the newest stable DLSS 5 add-on and skips release candidates, which moved games from a 7.0.0 release candidate back to 6.5.3. Now a build the app placed that is newer than the newest stable one is kept, and is not shown as an update, until a stable build passes it. Version order is also fixed: a final build now counts as newer than its own release candidates (7.0.0 over 7.0.0-rc8), so when 7.0.0 ships it replaces the candidate.
Smaller fixes
- One Install button. The Feeder knobs panel, with its own "Install DLSS 5" button, showed on every game. It now shows only for games using the Feeder, with no button of its own.
- Advanced options are remembered. Whether you left them open is saved and used for every game and the next start.
Upstream: DLSS5-Feeder 1.17.0-beta.3 (checksum verified) is picked up automatically.
Everything from v0.14.0 is included.
