• 32-bit games were invisible when you picked a folder. The scan kept 64-bit executables only, so a game with no 64-bit exe at all — Max Payne (#17) — returned no candidates and could only be installed by selecting the exe by hand. 32-bit support itself was already there (the feeder drives those through its host64 helper); only the folder scan refused to surface them.

  64-bit still wins whenever one exists, because a 32-bit exe sitting next to a 64-bit one is a tool, not the game. The fallback applies only to folders with nothing 64-bit in them.
