Fix #47: Complete fix for Save Settings not working
Root Cause: The saveSettings() function was trying to get email from formData.get('email'), but no field with name="email" existed in the form. Additionally, the Private CA configuration panel wasn't being shown correctly due to ID mapping mismatch (private_ca → private_ca-config instead of private-ca-config).
Solution:
- Modified
saveSettings()to extract email from the selected CA provider's configuration section (Let's Encrypt, DigiCert, or Private CA) - Added explicit
caProviderToConfigIdmapping to correctly handle theprivate_ca→private-ca-configID translation - Improved error messages to indicate which CA provider section requires the email address
Changes:
templates/settings.html: Updated email collection logic and CA provider config ID mapping
Testing:
- Verified settings save correctly for all CA providers (Let's Encrypt, DigiCert, Private CA)
- Confirmed no more "An invalid form control is not focusable" browser console errors
- Validated proper show/hide of CA configuration sections
