This is a major change. No action is required but you may want to delete old compensation values.
marlin-calc
There were serious flaws in the marlin-calc
math that caused it to incorrectly ignore acceleration timing, leading to incorrect estimates. PTG's compensation probably fixed some of the differences but with the new, more accurate simulation, estimates should be more consistent. Only the most recent five successful prints are used for compensation so you can either delete the compensation table in your settings or just let them expire as you do new prints.
LIN_ADVANCE
LIN_ADVANCE
is now supported. If you have an M900 K
directive in your configuration, linear advance will be enabled for the estimation. Your configuration will be picked up automatically when PTG sees it in the console.
