• New reth_chain_head_basefee, reth_chain_head_gas_used, and reth_chain_head_blob_gas_used gauges, together with gas-used and blob-gas-used histograms, restore visibility equivalent to op-geth's canonical-head fee and gas metrics. These series begin updating once the node follows the chain through the Engine API and do not advance during backfill (#22587)
