Changes 10/18/2026 (v3.37.0)
release(v3.37.0): enforce document editing boundaries
Fixed
- The browser editor and WebDAV now honor the folder Edit capability consistently with ONLYOFFICE, allowing authorized content edits regardless of uploader while preserving the original uploader metadata.
- ONLYOFFICE no longer opens documents inside encrypted folders, and save callbacks issued before encryption are rejected once folder encryption begins.
Documentation
- Clarified that Edit controls file-content changes, while Bypass Ownership applies only to operations with a separate ownership restriction.
- Clarified how an open ONLYOFFICE session behaves when its folder becomes encrypted.
Upgrade notes
- No account, file, folder, permission, encryption-key, or configuration migration is required.
- Existing upload-collision ownership protection is unchanged.
