Added
- BitTorrent can use a qBittorrent or Transmission you already run, set up the way Sonarr and Radarr do: address, login, category and folders (#53).
- Changing the BitTorrent engine takes effect at once: downloads carry on with the new engine and seeds follow it.
- In a client you run, Zimi's torrents follow Zimi's seed ratio, not the client's own seeding limits, and Zimi never touches a torrent outside its category.
- The password to manage Zimi can be turned off, from anywhere, confirmed with the current password and reversible: the password is kept for when it comes back on (#112).
- The BitTorrent card closes to one line, the engine and whether its port is open or its client connected; the settings open beneath it.
zimi doctorlists the optional features, whether each is ready, and how this kind of install gets the rest.
Changed
- Settings > Users is now Access: who can manage Zimi, public access, your account (with its username), users and the API token.
- Who can manage Zimi is one switch, Require a password to manage. The switch for managing from outside your network is gone, and Zimi no longer guesses where a visitor is: behind a reverse proxy the password could not be turned off. A saved "anyone on my network" keeps working. A saved "manage only from inside my network" is no longer read: with a password, settings are reachable from anywhere, and
ZIMI_MANAGE_EXTERNAL=0keeps the old wall. ZIMI_MANAGE_EXTERNALis deprecated: it still applies, with a warning at startup. Keep/manage/off the internet at your proxy instead.- Turning the password off asks for it, and an API token no longer stands in the way. The token row shows only while a password is on.
- While anyone can manage Zimi, no API token, account or password can be made.
source:andlang:filter the library as they do the catalog;source:also reads file names (source:nopic).
Fixed
- Cancelling a voice download during first-time setup stops the setup at once.
- An active choice in Settings shows as selected.
- Library and catalog search match titles and descriptions, not file names: "git" no longer finds zimgit ZIMs, nor "en" every English one (#108).
- The access switch saves as you flip it, like every other switch in Manage.
- Discover shows the day's picks for a reader who has just signed in, not Today alone.
- The activity bar counts the ZIMs being seeded; it always said none.
- An import cancelled while its converter is silent ends as cancelled, not failed.
- With a client you run, stopping a seed never lets the client delete a library ZIM, even after its folder mapping is removed or mistyped.
