Summary

This is the initial release of Encryptic. It's based off my fork of the Laverna project.

Please log an issue if something doesn't work. Also, if you want to have a voice in where this is going, please give me feedback at #3 or on gitter at https://gitter.im/encryptic-team/Lobby.

Call for help

Currently the development team is just me. Since I don't have the spare time to dedicate to the project that it deserves, that's something I would like to see change. If there's anyone out there who wants to help, please feel free. I'm going to be working on documentation of code flow and classes in the future to make this process easier. If you have any questions or want direction on where to start, just drop me a line on gitter or via email.

Important information

Importing notes from Laverna will likely work, however, a direct upgrade will not. You will need to go into Laverna and export notes before you can import them. The good news is that, since the name change, you SHOULD be able to have both laverna and encryptic* without worrying about this version stepping on your laverna notes.

*Installed and independent of each other, I mean. They both use port 9000, so you will not be able to have both open. If this is an issue, let me know.

Static web release

New to encryptic is a release containing just the files needed to statically host on your own website. These are the same files at https://app.encryptic.org. Note that not all features may work properly from a hosted version as some are (and will be as new features are added) dependent on node/electron.
