RPCS3 for Xbox 0.1.35.10 (test build)
This is main (0.1.35.7) plus #71, #72 and the updated README game list (#73). Branch claude/project-thread-7w136b. It replaces 0.1.35.8 and .9 (same app code as .9).
Fix
- Changing Resolution scale in a game no longer crashes it (#71). The Dozen copy clipping in 0.1.35.7 didn't catch the problem: telemetry shows the same crash in Jetpack Joyride, Portal 2 and MvC2. In a game, the pause menu now saves Resolution scale and Resolution scale threshold without switching the running game. The menu shows the new value, and Restart game (or the next boot) applies it. Outside a game, nothing changes.
Diagnostics
- Crash logs name the bad copy (#72). Some games stop with "Out of host memory" because the Xbox rejects a frame. This happens in L.A. Noire within a minute, in Resistance 2, and when the resolution scale changes. When it happens, the Mesa log now lists the frame's last copies with their sizes and formats. That should show which copy is invalid. Nothing else changes.
What to test
- In a game, change Resolution scale in the pause menu and resume. The game should keep running at the old scale.
- Choose Restart game. The game should now run at the new scale, and the pause menu should still show it.
Install
Install Microsoft.UI.Xaml.2.8.appx if it's missing, then RPCS3Xbox-0.1.35.10.appx. It installs over 0.1.35.x as an update, so no uninstall is needed. The Dozen driver is rebuilt for #72.
