v0.0.4 - Beta Release
We are excited to release Beta v0.0.4 of EMCFFBV2, a maintenance update that introduces wireless button input support and includes several important bug fixes to improve system stability and functionality.
This release lays the groundwork for future wireless capabilities by adding support for receiving button input wirelessly via ESP-NOW.

Wireless Buttons via ESP-NOW
The firmware can now receive button input wirelessly from an external ESP32-based transmitter using ESP-NOW. This enables the use of wireless button boxes or remote control panels. -

Note: Wireless functionality is limited to button input only in this release. Full bidirectional wireless features (e.g., remote configuration or wireless force feedback) are planned for future updates.

- This release continues to be in BETA stage. While stable for most use cases, please report any issues via the Issues page.

How to Update
- Download the
.zipfile attached to this release. - Flash the firmware to your ESP32-S2/S3 device using the provided utility.
- Refer to the Wiki for setup and configuration instructions.
