Changed

• Validate runs epubveri 0.31.0 and Repair epubsana 0.34.0 in the
  browser, the same versions as the CLI. Repair gains the two fixes of
  cli-v4.3.0 (a list placed directly in another list, an image declared as
  the wrong standard type). On 60 shelf books, Repair agrees with the CLI on
  every one.

Fixed

• Optimize carries the upgrade fixes of cli-v4.3.0: layout attributes and
  obsolete elements EPUB 3 no longer allows are written as HTML and CSS; an
  empty unique identifier points at the book's one real identifier; an id
  the upgrade made invalid is renamed with its links. Test shelf, Repair then
  Optimize: 394 → 427 of 562 books come out valid (web-v1.27.0 → web-v1.28.0),
  and no book has more errors than before.
• Optimize no longer times out on books with many XHTML 1.x documents (an
  805-document book went from over the 120-second limit to 5 seconds).

Security

• HTTPS (metadata lookup, Smart Import): rustls-webpki 0.103.16 and
  webpki-roots 1.0.10 (RUSTSEC-2026-0382, RUSTSEC-2026-0381).

Multi-arch (amd64 + arm64). The web service ships as a container image
only; for the command-line tool, see the latest cli-v* release.
