Changed
- The Repair mode runs epubsana in the browser, the repairer
epublift repairruns since cli-v3.0.0, in place of the old three-fix repair on the
server. The book is never uploaded. Drop an.epuband click Find fixes:
the page lists every proposed fix with the safe ones ticked, each one opening
to show why it is proposed and what it changes. Tick the fixes that need a
decision if you agree, apply, and download<name>_repaired.epub. A fix that
makes the book worse is undone automatically and shown as undone. When a fix
lets epubveri check part of the book for the first time, Find more fixes →
plans again on the repaired book. It is epubsana's published npm build
(0.22.0,vendor/VENDOR.md); on Project Hail Mary with every fix approved it
writes the same bytes asepublift repair --yes. The page's text is in all 13
languages; the fixes' titles and reasons are epubsana's, in English.
Removed
- The server's
POST /repairendpoint, which the Repair page no longer
calls; it now answers 404. Anyone who scripted against it can run
epublift repair(cli-v3.0.0), which applies the same repair.
Fixed
- The privacy and beta notes in Validate no longer split into columns. A note
whose translation held bold text or a link rendered each piece as its own
column; its text is now one line of prose, as in Repair's new note. - Validate's count line is readable. "N error(s), N warning(s)" above the
findings was dark brown on the dark result card; it is now the card's light
text colour, as in Repair.
Run it
docker pull ghcr.io/epublift/epublift-web:1.21.0Multi-arch (amd64 + arm64). The web service ships as a container image
only; for the command-line tool, see the latest cli-v* release.
