This is a major version release that removes deprecated legacy options and paths.

Removed Deprecated Configuration Options

The following deprecated experimental options have been removed from rulesync.jsonc and config-schema.json:

• experimentalGlobal - Use global instead
• experimentalSimulateCommands - Use simulateCommands instead
• experimentalSimulateSubagents - Use simulateSubagents instead

Removed Legacy File Paths

• Legacy .rulesync.md file path support has been removed
• The loadRulesyncFilesLegacy() method has been removed from RulesProcessor

If you were using any of these deprecated options or legacy file paths, please update your configuration to use the current options before upgrading to v4.0.0.

Other Changes

• chore(deps-dev): bump the dev-dependencies group with 12 updates
