Workflow 2.8.0

This minor release adds optional bounded live execution for persistent embedded PHP database-queue workers. Enable selected workflows with an explicit allowlist and immutable application build ID. Sequential remote activities and positive ordinary timers can resume after committed outcomes; unsupported features and object-capable entry signatures use cold replay.

Each worker retains at most four frames for a nonrenewing 30 seconds, subject to a 128 MiB worker-RSS threshold. Fresh task generation, connection/session identity, configuration and committed history checks fence reuse. Rollback, worker loss and uncertain broker acknowledgement discard retained state. Normal worker supervision and durable recovery remain required.

The release preserves 2.7.3's entry-binding refusal, supported repair of the same original, and genuine application-body failures. There are no #748 database migrations or portable protocol changes.

See the configuration and operating limits and measurement reports. Results vary by workload; retention does not establish higher safe SQLite capacity. The reported four-worker 1,000-event failures remain failed and explicit.

Source qualification passes 71 focused continuation/process/cache/profile controls and the full 4,301-test unit suite, all database feature shards, all five supported Laravel source-upgrade journeys, regression corpus, style/static analysis and the 93.75% combined coverage ratchet (no exclusions). The exact PR head also passes dependency-security, public-boundary and Sonar checks. Source build and protected PR build retain the original results.

Normal Packagist installation is verified against the immutable release: source/dist references and all 955 product files match, product classes/functions load from vendor, and 71 installed-package controls pass 2,606 assertions. The published-package verifier and all 16 PHP/Laravel upgrade cells pass across the five supported Laravel families.

Sample App #264 and Server #552 are merged and qualified with normal published Core 2.8.0. Sample's native AMD64/ARM64 installed publication passes. Its subsequent #265 security delivery retains the Core pins and passes its own installed publication. Server 2.9.11 / chart 0.2.1 publication passes, including published SQLite first-run, source-free MySQL Compose and anonymous chart clean install. Exact-image acceptance also matches all 955 Core files and passes 18 PostgreSQL/MySQL/MariaDB TLS probes. Native/shared/frozen migration adoption and Cloud rollout remain separate.
