Embedded schedule evaluation now accepts workflow:v2:schedule-tick --limit=N. Set the default through workflows.v2.schedules.tick_limit / DW_V2_SCHEDULE_TICK_LIMIT; it remains 100. An invalid value fails without evaluating schedules.
The command retains the existing namespace fairness and missed-fire behavior. Each pass bounds due starts and buffered actions separately. Finite-burst bounds assume successfully startable candidates and on-cadence ticks; failed starts remain due and can extend the wait. Applications with an older published config/workflows.php must add the new nested schedules setting or refresh their configuration before the environment setting takes effect.
