Fix retained local and cancellation-scope checkpoint receipts ending in complete_update or fail_update. The returned next_sequence now admits the following checkpoint or scope-open under the same retained claim. Retrying an older receipt corrects its cursor without replaying commands or changing history, leases or task state. Update outcomes keep their separate identity from yielded workflow steps.
Includes focused before/after coverage and an official cold-replay regression fixture. Full main qualification passed its quality, coverage and SQL-engine gates. The committed source-release metadata matches this tag.
