Mercure 1.1.6 fixes Prometheus metrics for setups serving several hubs from the same Caddy instance: each hub now gets its own labeled series, and the global series sum every hub instead of reflecting only one. It also bounds the size of topic validation errors and updates dependencies, including Caddy 2.11.8.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Metrics: when one Caddy instance serves several hubs,
/metricsreported the counters of a single hub. Themercure_*series now sum all hubs, and newmercure_hub_*series labeled withhub(the hub'sname,defaultfor the unnamed hub) expose each hub separately. Themercure_subscriptions_rejected_totalmetric is now documented. See Health Monitoring. by @rrajkomar in #1458 - Stop quoting over-long topics in full in validation errors and in the publish endpoint's 400 response, so the error size no longer grows with a client-controlled value. 📦 Dependencies
- Update dependencies, including Caddy 2.11.8, grpc 1.85 and prometheus/common 0.73. Release binaries and images are now always built with the latest Go 1.27 patch release. by @dunglas in #1470
Enterprise
Mercure Enterprise picks up the same fixes: on instances serving several hubs, Prometheus metrics now report each hub separately. It also updates dependencies, including Caddy 2.11.8.
Mercure Cloud hubs are upgraded automatically: use Mercure Cloud to get fixes like these without managing upgrades yourself.
