New
- Optional pressure sensor: the moist air enthalpy used a fixed pressure of 101325 Pa. You can now choose a pressure sensor (device class pressure or atmospheric pressure, any pressure unit) in the UI or with
pressure_sensorin YAML, and the enthalpy uses its value. Without a sensor, or while its value is unavailable or outside 300 to 1100 hPa, the standard pressure is used, so existing entries calculate exactly as before. The enthalpy sensor shows the pressure in use in apressureattribute. Thanks to @da-sa-li. (#459, #2) - The
namefield is now labeled Device name and described in the setup and options dialogs. It is the name of the device and the prefix of the sensor names.
Deprecated
- The YAML format used before 2.0 (
sensor:withplatform: thermal_comfortandsensors:) has been unsupported since 2.0 and now logs a warning that it will stop working in the next release. Move to thethermal_comfort:YAML format described in the documentation, or set the integration up in the UI.
Fixes
- Sensors reporting
μg/m³(the spelling used by Home Assistant's unit enumerators, for example PM sensors) were offered as temperature or humidity sources. Both spellings of the micro sign are now excluded. Thanks to @dewi-ny-je. (#474) - Removed the unneeded
custom_components/__init__.py. (#472)
Translations
- New Traditional Chinese (zh-Hant) translation. Thanks to @Marxxu3ru. (#471)
- Updated Slovak translation. Thanks to @misa1515. (#470)
Documentation and maintenance
- Described the enabled sensors field and the second heat index step.
- The README links the Fink translation editor.
- More tests: the config flow errors, the migration of old unique_ids, the reload service and the remaining perception levels.
