⚠️ You must UNINSTALL the old FreeFCC first, then install this one
This version is signed with a new signing key, so Android will refuse to install it over your existing FreeFCC and show "App not installed." That is expected — the download is fine.
To update:
- Uninstall your current FreeFCC.
- Install this v1.5.4 APK fresh (from the SD card / file manager, or the in-app download).
This is a one-time step (your in-app settings will reset). After this, future updates will install normally again.
What's new
- 4G: fixed the activation-flag byte and the gate that previously blocked 4G from being sent at all. 4G is still experimental — please report whether it activates on your dongle-equipped aircraft.
- FCC: apply now reports success honestly — no more "FCC enabled" when the writes didn't actually all land.
- Build/CI: release builds are fixed and now signed automatically.
FCC unlock itself is unchanged and unaffected.
