First public release of SimpleUI, a clean UI plugin for KOReader.

What's included

Desktop home screen

A dedicated home screen accessible from the bottom navigation bar, with the following configurable modules:

• Clock and date header (or Quote of the Day, or custom text)
• Currently Reading — cover, progress bar, percentage, and estimated time left
• Recent Books — up to 5 books with covers and progress indicators
• Collections — your KOReader collections as tappable cards
• Reading Goals — daily, weekly and monthly progress tracker
• Reading Stats — compact activity cards
• Quick Actions — up to 3 rows of customisable shortcut buttons
• Start with Desktop — optionally set the Desktop as the first screen KOReader opens on launch

Bottom navigation bar

• Up to 5 customisable tabs (Library, History, Collections, Desktop, Continue, Wi-Fi, Brightness, Stats, custom folders)
• Icons, text, or icons + text display modes
• Hold the bar to open settings instantly

Top status bar

• Clock, battery, Wi-Fi, brightness, disk usage and RAM
• Configurable left/right placement for each item

Quote of the Day

• 100+ curated literary quotes, randomly selected
• Tap to advance to the next quote
• Fully editable via quotes.lua

Installation

1. Download the ZIP below
2. Extract and copy the simpleui.koplugin folder to your device's plugins/ directory
3. Restart KOReader and go to Menu → Tools → SimpleUI to enable
