CESuite v0.1.5
Adds generic, game-agnostic Lua dependency analysis and dependency summarization.
Highlights
- Generalizes Lua global dependency detection beyond any game-specific prefix.
- Detects generic Lua globals as:
providesrequires
- Preserves:
source = lua_lexicalstatus = unverified
- Adds
dependency_summarywith grouped symbol, relation, scripts, sections, locations and occurrence counts. - Adds conservative exclusions for:
- Lua keywords and builtins
- known Cheat Engine APIs/globals/constants
- locals, parameters, loop variables and implicit
self - comments, strings, fields and table keys
- Improves lexical handling for numbers, concatenation, labels and local attributes.
- Does not execute inspected Lua or Auto Assembler code.
Compatibility
dependenciesremains backward compatible as the raw occurrence evidence layer.dependency_summaryis additive and does not replace raw dependency evidence.- Existing Lua/RVA hook detection remains intact.
- Game-specific data is kept only as reproducible validation material, not as project semantics.
Validation
Validated live with Cheat Engine 7.7.1.
Real-world regression results:
- 117 dependency occurrences
- 21
provides - 96
requires - 21 unique symbols
- 42 dependency summary groups
- 87 unique dependency locations
- 16 Lua/RVA resources preserved
The live results matched the offline replay.
Tests
81/81 tests passing.
New components
ce/modules/dependencies.luace/modules/luanames.luatools/replay_dependencies.py- generic dependency schema support
- reproducible validation fixtures and documentation

Notes
Lua dependency analysis remains conservative and lexical.
A detected provides or requires relationship does not prove runtime availability or execution order. Unknown APIs, generated code, includes, environment changes and other dynamic Lua behavior may still require manual validation.
