Amiga 360 Refresh 2026 1.5 makes saved Workbench sessions genuinely useful on Xbox 360. Save a running Picasso96 desktop, return to it with its machine configuration and hardfiles, or pin the state in Favorites for a near-instant launch. The original 1.0 Feature Edition remains available as a rollback.
What changed
- Savestates now validate required hardfiles and restore the embedded machine configuration before memory and devices. A failed restore leaves a recoverable path instead of guessing at the current setup.
- Config and savestate previews capture the active Amiga display, including RTG/Picasso96, in the familiar 320×240 format.
- Press R3 in Savestates to add or remove a saved session from Favorites. Favorites opens it through the same validated restore path.
- The executable and both GUI skins were rebuilt together; the 1.0 release is preserved.
Download A360RF26-Xbox.7z and extract it as one folder on a JTAG/RGH Xbox 360. Launch A360RF26.xex. The separate A360RF26-Tools-CD-PUBLIC.iso is an optional toolbox; mount it from the GUI. Its iGame installer can copy your own WHDLoad Kickstart files from DH1:MyFiles/Kick when present. Neither package includes Kickstart ROMs, Workbench, commercial games, HDF collections or copyrighted music.
This release is based on the real-hardware-tested Xbox branch. The later experimental physical-keyboard and RTG redraw work is not part of these 1.5 archives. The old emulator core still knows a few tricks; we simply gave its surroundings some manners.
