TTS Audio Suite v5.0.0
This release marks a major architecture shift for the suite.
Highlights
- Main environment now moves forward on Transformers 5
- Fragile legacy engines can now run through isolated secondary runtimes instead of forcing the whole suite onto an older stack
- Added Higgs Audio v3 with:
- zero-shot voice cloning
- native inline emotion/style/prosody/SFX tags
- unified TTS Text and TTS SRT support
- Improved the Multiline TTS Tag Editor with:
- engine-aware inline tag modes
- inline tag validation
- safe tag conversion between engines where mappings exist
- better persistence for editor state and selected inline engine
- Updated workflows, screenshots, README, and engine documentation for the new architecture
Why this is a major release
This is not just a new engine drop.
The suite now has a clearer split between:
- a modern main environment for engines that work well on the current stack
- isolated runtimes for strategically important but dependency-fragile engines
