Added

  • A workspace row's ⋯ menu has New worktree and Open worktree…, as herdr's own
worktree keys do. New worktree checks a branch out as a git worktree under herdr's worktree
folder and opens it as a workspace next to the repository's; Open worktree… lists the
repository's other checkouts and opens one, or goes back to the workspace it is already open
in. Remote PCs get the two with their next bridge update.
    (#383)
  • In the By workspace view a repository's worktree workspaces sit under its row, as herdr's own
sidebar keeps them. A worktree row's menu ends in Delete worktree checkout…, which deletes
the folder and closes the workspace but keeps the branch; a checkout with unsaved changes is
refused first, in git's words, with Delete anyway as the second step. Closing a repository
workspace over open worktrees says so and closes them with it.
    (#384)
  • New tab, as herdr's prefix+c: a workspace row's ⋯ menu, the header's New tab button
on a desktop, the command palette and the tab strip's + open the session dialog as New tab,
with the folder fixed to the workspace's and the agent and an optional tab name to choose. The
tab opens in the workspace with its agent started the way a new session's is. Remote PCs get
it with their next bridge update. The server half starts from
    #362 by @WOULDU-pres.
    (#386)
  • A tab strip over the pane, as herdr's tab row, once a workspace has more than one pane: one
entry per tab with the agent state as a dot, the open one underlined; a tab herdr still names
by its number reads Tab 2. A tab opens the pane last viewed in it, and a tab split into
several panes in the TUI has a picker of them beside its name.
    (#386)

Changed

  • The sidebar lists one row per workspace, as herdr's Spaces sidebar does, instead of a header
with a row per pane. The row shows the workspace's current pane (the selected one, else the one
last viewed there, else the one herdr has in front) and the roll-up of its agents' states; its
other panes are reached from the tab strip, the command palette and Needs you. Workspace
headers, numbers and folds are gone; folder folds stay. Rename pane renames the pane the
row shows, and a close asks first, as before.
    (#386)

Fixed

  • Settings → Updates no longer leaves Check for updates and Update and restart disabled
when the answer to a click arrives while the page is hidden, as when a phone sends the app to
the background. The status poll pauses with the page; the click's answer now lands anyway.
    (#381)
  • The Windows installer finishes on a PC that has no Bun yet. Bun's own installer left the
PowerShell session without the system PATH, so the next step stopped with git not recognized
or herdr's program not found, and installing Bun by hand first was the only way through.
    (#385)
