Install from Firefox Add-ons: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/twitter-x-to-nitter/
What changed:
- Added four servers. nitter.mie.foundation and nitter.r4fo.com join the built-in list. nitter.tiekoetter.com and nitter.mizuki.st are permitted, so the health service can use them while they are healthy. Firefox asks you to approve access to the new servers when it updates; if you decline, you stay on 1.7.3.
- Removed nitter.meowing.monster from the built-in list, because it only redirects to nitter.mizuki.st. It stays permitted.
- A search that lands on a server with search turned off now moves on to another server. Before, you were left on its "Search disabled" page. That server is not counted as failing, since its other pages work.
- The health service is now checked every 15 minutes as intended. Before, it was checked every 30.
- A tweet whose text contains "just a moment" is no longer mistaken for a bot-check page.
- Malformed scores from the health service can no longer send every redirect to the same server.
The Firefox Add-ons package contains the extension files from this tag, unchanged. There is no build step.
