Changes

• Archive passwords in Files. If Unpack here finds an archive that neither the saved password nor pippo opens, the password window now opens right there in Files. Before, the unpack only failed, and the Enter password button waited under Downloads → Failed where nobody looked for it.
• Unpack with password. ZIP, 7z and RAR archives in Files have a new Unpack with password action for when you already know the password. It is tried first, before the saved password and pippo.
• Clearer message. A wrong archive password now says where to enter the right one: Downloads → Failed → Enter password.

Validation

All 64 integration checks passed, including unpacking RAR5, 7z and AES ZIP archives from Files with a password given up front and rejecting empty, too long or non-text passwords. All 14 UI checks passed, including the password window opening in Files for a locked unpack and not for a finished one. The archive checks and the browser checks passed. The new Files actions were not tried by hand on a console before publishing. After publishing, a PS5 on firmware 13.60 updated from 0.7.35 to 0.7.36 through Settings → Updates in 9 seconds; both payload copies read back over FTP match the release SHA-256, and the download queue was unchanged.

Third-party notices

This release uses 7-Zip 26.04 by Igor Pavlov, including its RAR decoder. The applicable LGPL notices and unRAR restriction, the corresponding decoder sources with local changes, and application objects and instructions for relinking are in ps5-library-0.7.36-archive-relink.tar.gz. The payload built from that bundle is byte-identical to ps5-library.elf. This supplementary asset is for developers; it is not needed to install or update the payload.

Load ps5-library.elf or update through Settings → Updates. Your catalogs, accounts and settings are kept. A download in progress pauses; Resume continues it.
