PearSilicon 0.5.0 (22)
The virtual gamepad branch and the 32-bit PearLegacyEngine branch are now one
line, so a single build carries every input path.
New
- 32-bit iOS games (PearLegacyEngine v0.5.0): importing a 32-bit
.ipa
from the iOS tab installs and launches it automatically — no manual engine
setup. The bundled runtime prints
PearLegacyEngine v0.5.0 (Apple Silicon 32-bit iOS Runtime). - Virtual gamepad: for controller-aware games, the hidden
GCVirtualControllershim turns keyboard and mouse into pad input; bind any
control to a key or mouse button in the Keymap tab. - Automatic compatibility: scene-less apps built with an iOS SDK older than
15 get window re-attach and mouse→touch bridges derived fromInfo.plist. - 32-bit keymapper and performance HUD: 32-bit titles replay key bindings as
real touches (tap, hold, swipe, dead-zonedjoystick), and the
Performance HUD draws a seven-segment FPS overlay with the engine's own
OpenGL ES renderer.
Notes
- 32-bit entries show a 32-bit badge, an Architecture row, a resolution-scale
card and a Save Data button (instead of "Open Data"). - The virtual gamepad is 64-bit only: its shim is an arm64 runtime dylib that
cannot load into an emulated app, so 32-bit titles use the touch keymapper and
the Keymap tab says so.
