PearSilicon 0.4.4 — Development Beta
Gutterball / legacy Unity apps
Gutterball is an iOS 10-era Unity app with no UIScene lifecycle. On current
macOS UIKitMacHelper asserts before it creates the window (should have proxy before assigning wc and a nil-array scene-container constraint pass). For apps
with a pre-15 SDK and no scene manifest, the runtime now skips those pre-proxy
passes and the redundant subtree constraint update. The app’s own Unity window
is created and stays on screen. This fix is limited to old-SDK apps.
Riptide GP2, Minecraft and click issues
Pointer lock and the Metal HUD are now disabled for these entries. Pointer lock
can trap the cursor and make a Catalyst game appear unresponsive; the HUD is an
extra overlay that is not needed for play. Relaunch an entry after changing
these options.
