Bug fixes:
- Explicitly allowed Cryptographic Services to ensure the digital certificate authorization can complete.
- Updated more classes to utilize Net 8.
UI:
- Simplified the Trust Publisher option. Now you can either auto-allow applications that have a digital certificate that is trusted by Windows, or whitelist publishers yourself. You can do this in the app.
- Made it so you can interact with other windows and popups even when the notification popup comes up.
- The tray now reflects the firewall status (green is on, red is off).
- Context menu updates:
- Create advanced rule from dashboard by right-clicking pending connection.
- Enable/Disable Minimal Firewall from system tray.
- Copy details (in case you want to search online easily).
- Open file path (auto disabled for services).
- More columns of information in Audit tab.
- Counter for Audit tab.
Functionality:
- Updated Wildcard creation to support tmp files. (But allowing publisher is probably easier/more reliable).
To Download
Just extract and the click on the .exe. You will want to place it in a folder
The smaller file is set to work on Windows 8 and later. It should work if you just want the smallest possible size (but remember, smaller doesn't mean a program uses less resources or is faster). The New framework is what I recommend using.
You may be prompted to download NET 8 from Microsoft if you are using an older system.
