Hello Reitti community! We're excited to ship version 1.7.0, a release focused on giving you more granular control over both data sharing and the application's visual style. Let's dive into the specifics.
✨ New Features
Simplified User-to-User Sharing (PR #319)
Sharing data with other users on the same instance is now easier than ever. We've streamlined the process with a dedicated UI.
-
Granting Access: Navigate to
Settings > Share Access
. The new "Share with other users" section provides a simple, button-based interface for granting access to your data.
-
Managing Access: As a recipient, you now have full control over incoming shares. You can revoke access at any time and assign a unique color to each shared timeline for better visual organization on the map.
Custom Theming via CSS (PR #321)
You now have the power to customize the look and feel of your Reitti instance by providing your own stylesheet.
- How it works: A new setting allows you to upload a custom
.css
file. This lets you override default styles, tweak the UI, and create personalized themes for your Reitti experience. We can't wait to see the custom designs you create!
🌍 Localization & Community Contributions
A huge thank you to our incredible translation team! Just when they think their work is done, we merge new pull requests and send them scrambling to chase down all the new UI strings. You are the unsung heroes who make Reitti accessible to everyone.
A special salute to @rodrigomescua and the entire Weblate community for their rapid updates in this release cycle (via PR #300)!
