🗺️ Reitti v1.1.0 – Release Notes
Dear Reitti users,
We’re excited to introduce a major update packed with enhancements and new features designed to make Reitti more powerful, personal, and enjoyable to use. Here’s what’s new and improved in version 1.1.0:
🚀 New & Improved Features
1. Track Multiple Users on One Map
You can now visualize the paths and visit history of multiple users simultaneously!
In Settings > User Management, you'll find an option to add "Connected User Accounts" to your main account. Once linked, you can:
- Display everyone’s location data—see your family, friends, or team all together on one map.
- Assign custom colors to each connected account for easy identification.
- Enjoy a more personalized timeline, now featuring user avatars for every tracked person.
This makes it easier to keep an overview of your group’s activities—perfect for families, teams, or close friends.

2. Colored Map View
By popular demand, you’re no longer limited to a gray map!
With the new color map setting, you can switch to a vibrant, colored map style for a more visually engaging experience. Enable this in your display settings to give your journeys and places a lively new look.

3. Refreshed User Settings and Avatars
We’ve reorganized the User Settings page for easier navigation and a cleaner experience.
- Language selection is now conveniently located in User Settings.
- You can now choose a profile avatar: either add your own custom image or select from a set of pregenerated avatars. Personalized avatars are also visible throughout the app, including the new timeline.
4. Support for Imperial Distance Units
Global users rejoice! Reitti now supports displaying distances in imperial units (miles and feet).
Switch units in your preferences – whether you prefer kilometers/meters or miles/feet, you’re all set.

5. Optimized Data Processing
Data syncing is now faster and more efficient than ever.
- Real-time Processing: Data is now calculated as soon as new information is received, meaning your activities and visits appear much more quickly on the map.
- Configurable Wait Time: By default, the system waits for 15 seconds after the last data point is ingested before recalculating the data. If your integration pushes data updates more frequently, you can fine-tune this behavior by adjusting the
PROCESSING_WAIT_TIME
parameter. For example, with 10-second update intervals, set this property to 5–7 seconds to ensure timely updates. - Regular Data Checks: Even if there is no new incoming data, Reitti will automatically perform a check every 10 minutes to process any pending or missed data updates. This ensures your data stays up-to-date, even in periods of low activity or connectivity interruptions.
🛠️ Other Technical Changes
- Spring Boot Upgrade: We have upgraded our backend to Spring Boot 3.5.3, bringing performance, security, and long-term support improvements.
