- Games on NTFS disks: a USB disk or hard drive formatted as NTFS (MBR or GPT) is read straight from the disk, with nothing copied to the console. Its
psxfolder (or the name set in Games folder on drives) and itsSwanStationPS5/gamesfolder show on the shelf like a drive's. Plug the disk in and use Settings → Library → Rescan library; Settings → System → NTFS disks turns it off. - The disk is read only, only the app sees it, and if it is unplugged in the middle of a game the game is left and a notice says so. Encrypted (EFS, BitLocker) files cannot be read, and a disk Windows left in Fast Startup may not show its latest changes.
