For fans of the "Memory Card Dark" theme, here comes the inspired "Grayrat" theme—essentially "Memory Card Dark" but with a jewel case.
- BIOS: each region's choice (NTSC-J, NTSC-U, PAL) now lists Detect automatically, the OpenBIOS built into the core and every .bin in the BIOS folder, named as the core knows it (model and version). Choosing OpenBIOS really uses the built-in one (or an openbios.bin if you put one in the folder); before, the BIOS in the folder was used anyway.
- The BIOS choices are the console's, not each game's: a game's settings no longer carry or change them. They sit next to Start BIOS, which can now boot the NTSC-U (default), NTSC-J or PAL BIOS.
- Settings > About shows the BIOS each region will run.
- In This game, the options that are the same for every game show Global setting. in a greyed pill with a lock, and can only be changed in All games.
- Shelf: R1 opens a small keyboard that filters all the games by name, folder or serial as you type; L1 goes to the next category, and the row of categories slides like a carousel when it does not fit. Filter is shown top right; the cover download notice is gone.
- New Grayrat theme: Classic's look in the colours of Memory Card Dark, with Neon Arcade's font and a grey backdrop that darkens towards the floor. The chosen theme is kept when the app is closed.
- The achievements summary shown when a game opens and the sign-in notice no longer play a sound.
