What is SwanStationPS5?
SwanStationPS5 is a PlayStation 1 emulator that installs as an app on the PS5 home screen. It is a fork of PSXS5 by SynoPiia that runs every game on SwanStation.
It uses only PSXS5's frontend (the shelf, menus, controls and tools) to drive the SwanStation core.
The emulator is SwanStation (DuckStation's libretro core): accurate, and drawn on the PS5's GPU through Vulkan at up to 16x the PS1's resolution, with PGXP. It runs without a BIOS dump on its built-in OpenBIOS, but SCPH1001.BIN is highly recommended for good emulation.
