• Added a new favorite teams feature. Users can configure their favorite teams in the settings menu and the app will automatically pin games for favorite teams. More information about this feature is in the README. Big thanks to @dadamschi for their help with implementing this feature (#10).

• Updated most sports to now fetch games for the past 2 days and the next 2 days
• Updated the play by play capsule color to now use the primary team color
• Updated pre game notch view to use Team Arena when weather is not available

• Updated the Soccer expanded notch view to show the most recent major event (goals, penalties)
• Added a working update system to allow users to check for updates and provide an alert with a button to open the newest release when one is available. The app will also automatically check for updates every 8 hours.

• Added preferences button to menubar for macOS 13 users
• Smoother notch animations (thanks to a new update from DynamicNotchKit)
• Improved icon loading in notch views
• Introduced new refresh system to synchronize data fetching across all leagues and reduce CPU usage.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed broken sidebar in settings window
• Fixed an issue causing app crashes due to the F1 API
• Fixed layout shifting when loading icons in the notch expanded view

Installation

Requires macOS 13.0 and later
Note: Because the app is not signed, on first launch, macOS may warn that the app couldn't be verified. To open it:

1. Click Done on the warning prompt.
2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
3. Scroll down to the security section and click Open Anyway.

Homebrew

You can also install and manage MenuScores using Homebrew:

brew tap daniyalmaster693/casks
brew trust --cask daniyalmaster693/casks/menuscores
brew install --cask menuscores
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/MenuScores.app

You can update MenuScores using this command:

 brew upgrade --cask menuscores
