A smaller beta, but with one fix you really want: settings could get lost.
Your settings are safe now
If Home Assistant couldn't be reached at the exact moment the panel opened (a tablet waking up in the morning, HA restarting overnight), the panel thought you had no settings yet and showed the setup wizard. Finishing or skipping that wizard then saved over your real settings. Thanks to @hiroian for reporting it (#172).
Now the panel keeps trying until your settings are loaded, won't save anything before that, and the wizard adds to settings you already have instead of replacing them.
The weather card is the sky
The weather card's glass shows the weather as a moving scene: a soft sun or moon glow in the corner, clouds drifting past, rain falling at different depths with drops on the glass, snow, hail, fog, wind, and thunderstorms with lightning that lights up the clouds. On top of it: the temperature with "feels like", today's high and low with the expected rain, and tomorrow as one sentence ("Tomorrow partly cloudy, 16° and a 20% chance of rain"). With Animations turned off it's a still picture.
The weather popup's header is the same sky, and the hours and the week in the popup and the weather next to the greeting have animated icons. Next to the greeting, the hour tiles are now one glass bar with five hours and tomorrow.
Also fixed
- Changing the period in a graph card's settings could freeze the panel.
- With the panel in English, a few of the new cards still had a Dutch description in the card picker.
- Phones: the brightness steps on a light card fit next to the slider again, the header pills line up with the right edge, and the media card's progress line no longer touches the buttons.
Thanks for testing, and tell me what breaks.
