HaCasa Nova 3.1 is here. It's the biggest update since the reboot: you can now build your pages yourself, there are a bunch of new cards and popups, and the panel speaks German and Spanish. Thanks to everyone who tested the six betas and reported what broke.
Coming from 3.0? Your cards stay
3.1 starts out with fewer cards by itself and lets you add the rest. To keep that from emptying your pages, every card your pages showed in 3.0 is kept when you update: thermostats, media players, covers, cameras, scenes, locks, doors and windows. They now behave like cards you added yourself, so you can remove any of them in edit mode. This happens once.
Build your own pages
- Edit mode. Pick More → Edit room (or hold the page title) to drag cards into a new order, hide them, or add new ones. Hidden cards are one tap away under Hidden cards.
- Add card opens a picker like Home Assistant's: your devices, HaCasa's own cards, and your own template cards.
- Template cards are a library now. Make one template and place it as often as you like, picking the entity when you place it.
- Status pills under the greeting are yours: hide, reorder and add your own, with conditions.
- Icon picker on every icon field, with all Material Design Icons and 53 new HaCasa icons. The icon you pick is the icon you get.
- Card defaults now show a preview of your own cards while you choose.
New cards
Security, Household, List, Timers, Car, Solar, Garden and Air quality, plus a weather card that shows the sky: clouds drifting past, rain on the glass, snow, fog and lightning.
Better popups
The agenda is a real calendar with week, day and list views. The weather popup shows rain for the next two hours. The energy popup has a solar and battery flow, the media popup controls every player in the house with grouping, and the lights popup lists every lamp that's on with a slider. Pop-ups, pages and cards also move a bit more smoothly now. Find it too much on a wall tablet? Turn it off under Settings → General → Animations.

Fixes
- Settings could get lost when Home Assistant couldn't be reached as the panel opened (#172). The panel now waits until your settings are loaded.
- Album art from Music Assistant loads through Home Assistant now (#174).
- Template cards placed through Add card no longer get stuck on "Template error" (#167).
- Non-admin users get a clear note instead of empty template cards and System figures (#144), the nine-room cap is gone (#146), and plurals read right (#152).
- Lots of smaller phone layout fixes.
