What's Changed

This update features powerful improvements to the skillchains UI, allowing you to easily find and create multi-step skillchains with different weapons all from within Trust. Check out the release notes for v9.3.4 for a list of other features that have recently been added.

This update may require a new job settings file for some jobs. Backups of your old job settings files will be saved in addons/Trust/data/backups folder).

If you are updating from a version before 7.8.4
The directory structure of the Trust add-on has been simplified to remove the base addons folder (previous: addons/Trust, new: Trust). When updating Trust, copy and paste the contents of trust.zip into your existing addons/Trust folder (see Setup for more details). Get help in the Cyrite Game Studios Discord.

Skillchain Finder

You can now search for multi-step skillchains instead of having to choose steps one at a time using the Trust menu under Settings → Weaponskills → Skillchains → Find.

  • Filter skillchains by number of steps (e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
  • Filter skillchains by property (e.g. Light, Darkness, Distortion)
  • Filter skillchains by combat skills (e.g. Sword, Dagger, Marksmanship)

Choosing a Skillchain

Create multi-step skillchains involving one or more party members using the Trust menu under Settings → Weaponskills → Skillchains → Find → Select.

  • After selecting a skillchain, choose party members to perform each step
  • To create a solo skillchain, select the player for every step
  • To create a party skillchain, select at least two different players (NOTE: IpcMode must be set to All on all party members in order to create party skillchains)
  • Automatically update weapon skill settings for all party members participating in the skillchain

NOTE: when saving a party skillchain, steps that a participating party member is not performing will automatically be set to Skip.

⭐To create a multi-step party skillchain, ensure that Trust is loaded and IpcMode is set to All on all party members.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where spells would not cast properly on Japanese clients.
  • Fixed an issue where the Corsair trust could select the same roll for Roll 1 and Roll 2.
