What's Changed
This version features improvements to pulling and targeting, new behaviors for Blue Mage, White Mage and Paladin, simplifications to the UI and more! Check out the release notes for v8.8.6 for a list of other features that have recently been added.
This update may require a new job settings file for some jobs. Backups of your old job settings files will be saved in addons/Trust/data/backups folder).
If you are updating from a version before 7.8.4
The directory structure of the Trust add-on has been simplified to remove the base addons folder (previous: addons/Trust, new: Trust). When updating Trust, copy and paste the contents of trust.zip into your existing addons/Trust folder (see Setup for more details). Get help in the Cyrite Game Studios Discord.
White Mage
The days of the melee White Mage are back! Channel the damage you take into healing power with Afflatus Misery.
- Automatically use Cura I - Cura III when in Afflatus Misery stance
- Automatically remove status ailments with Esuna when in Afflatus Misery stance
🌟When dual wielding Maxentius and Ukaldi (TP +1000) White Mage can put out some impressive numbers on Black Halo!
Blue Mage
Heal your party and sustain your mana pool with Blue Magic spells.
- Automatically heal the party when
AutoHealModeis not set toOff - Automatically use Magic Fruit and Wild Carrot for single target cures
- Automatically use White Wind and Healing Breeze for AOE cures
- Automatically use Magic Hammer when mana points percentage falls below 40% and
AutoRestoreManaModeis set toAuto
Pulling
Pull monsters for the party to fight faster than ever before and customize which actions to pull with using the Trust UI under Settings → Pulling → Actions (NOTE: pull actions do not persist if the addon is reloaded).
- Improved the speed between pulls
- Fixed an issue where the Trust would not engage after pulling
- Choose spells to pull with from both main and sub job
- Choose job abilities to pull with from both main and sub job
- Choose whether to pull with Approach or Ranged Attack
🌟 You can add multiple pull actions and the Trust will use whichever is ready. This can be useful for pulling with spells like Aspir II, Absorb-ACC and Absorb-STR that have long cooldowns.
Targeting
Automatically control which monsters to auto target when pulling large groups of mobs in content like Sheol C segment farms.
- Only auto target monsters aggressive to the party when
AutoTargetModeis set toParty
Widgets
This version iterates on the previous release with improvements to the Target Widget.
Target Widget
The Target Widget now shows you even more information about the target your party is fighting (NOTE: Due to FFXI limitations, you will only see debuffs disappear on the player that cast the spell which applied the debuff).
UI
The UI has been re-designed to fit more seamlessly into the built-in FFXI UI.
- Settings windows have been moved to the top left to match the built-in FFXI windows
- Duplicate title bars have been removed, with information about a window now displayed on the top information bar
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the target would persist after zoning
- Fixed an issue where weapon skills with no skillchain properties would interrupt a pre-defined skillchain
- Fixed an issue where some settings editors would not render properly
