What's Changed

This update introduces major improvements to Bard and the ability to customize which enemies to pull. Check out the previous releases for a list of other features that have recently been added.

Bard

Pianissimo

The Bard Trust is already able to sing songs for the party, including individual songs using Pianissimo, however up until now it was unable to Pianissimo itself. In this update, you are now able to set Bard as the target for a Pianissimo song. While this seems like a simple change, singing a single Mage's Ballad III on your Bard can turn them into a powerful healer with an endless MP battery. Note that Pianissimo songs may cause the Bard to Pianissimo one or more songs onto party member when re-singing.

• Add Pianissimo songs using the menu under Settings → Songs→ Pianissimo → Add.
• Add Bard to the list of jobs for a song using the menu under Settings → Songs→ Pianissimo → Jobs and select BRD.

⭐ Add no more than one Pianissimo song on the Bard if possible, otherwise it may require the Bard to use Pianissimo to re-sing songs on party members.

Song Restoration

Previously, when reloading Trust all song durations would reset, meaning the Bard Trust would immediately re-sing. In addition to potentially wasting nitro songs, this could sometimes cause singing loops due to song durations preventing songs from being overwritten. In this update, the Bard Trust will attempt to determine the actual durations for any active songs. Due to FFXI limitations, it is impossible to know the actual durations with 100% certainty.

• If song durations are incorrect, use the // trust brd clear command to force a re-sing.

Pulling

In this update, the list of targets to pull has been moved from addons/trust/data/settings.xml to the job settings file. In addition to allowing you to customize which enemies to pull on a per-job basis, it fixes issues where the target list could sometimes not be edited. Note that this update will require you to re-add enemies to pull for each job one time only.

• Add enemies to pull using the menu under Settings → Pulling → Targets → Add.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed issue where enemies could sometimes not be added or removed from Settings → Pulling → Targets.
• Fixed issue Bard would not accurately determine remaining song duration after reloading Trust with active songs.
