This preview release adds multi-color backgrounds to all platforms (with some related fixes and enhancements), and brings modifier clicks (e.g. shift+click, ctrl+click, etc.) to Windows and more Linux distros.

Enhancements

• Multi-color backgrounds
  • Please see the 'background' section in the docs, or this video for info on how to use.
  • There are some new built-in Style presets (at the bottom of the list, starting with rgb_position_based), with colors that align with the either the position_based_16_9 or the position_based_columns Grid presets
• Modifier+clicks
  • Modifier clicks are now available on Windows (they're already present on Mac). Availability may vary across Linux distros (should work on Fedora 41, partially works on Ubuntu 20 -- more testing to come, and reports are welcome).
  • See the docs or the latest YouTube video for instructions.
• Char display field for hiding the level 1 char, or both chars
• Color input mode allows you to show/hide text entry fields (rgb hex) for color values

Fixes

• The toggle overlay lock feature is now more robust, which is particularly handy when editing the multi-color background settings.

Known issues

• If you get this error on startup, "Error loading presets file. No user presets will be available. Error: 'list' object has no attribute 'items'", you likely need to add the following text to the bottom of your presets.yaml file (located in the presets folder one level up from the config folder). Note: the two leading spaces are required.
