Shadowbox Mode is a new choice in the overflow/... menus of various feeds. It is a fullscreen mode with a hidable bottom bar. It lets you horizontally swipe to other posts. For Reddit galleries it lets you swipe down to see the images.

There is a new setting Settings | Interface | Hide Text Posts and Posts with No Preview to make it more like a fullscreen version of the Gallery Layout.
