This release reduces memory use and makes tx event searches cancellable. It addresses out-of-memory crashes on nodes serving GET /cosmos/tx/v1beta1/txs (and CometBFT RPC tx_search) for queries that match a very large number of transactions.

This is a non-consensus release. The state machine is unchanged, so nodes can upgrade at any time with a rolling restart. No upgrade height or governance proposal is needed.

Bug fixes

• Tx search loads only the requested page. Previously the kv indexer loaded every matching transaction into memory before taking out the requested page, even for limit=100. It now sorts and pages matches using the index keys and loads only the transactions on the requested page. In benchmarks with 100k matches, peak memory fell from 459 MB to 45 MB and latency from 474 ms to 95 ms. (crypto-org-chain/cometbft#69)

• Tx searches stop when the client disconnects. GetTxsEvent and GetTx called CometBFT with a background context, so a search kept running after the client had timed out or disconnected. The request context is now passed through, and the search stops when the request is cancelled. (crypto-org-chain/cosmos-sdk#1878)
