READ THIS FIRST

We are incredibly excited to finally get the first beta of Firebot for Twitch out for you all!

Firebot was heavily coupled to Mixer, it's API, and all the paradigms and patterns associated with it. This meant converting Firebot to Twitch has been an arduous and time consuming task.

• Firstly, thank you SO MUCH for your patience as we worked to get this port to Twitch ready.
• Secondly, please be conscious that THERE WILL BE BUGS!
  • Please drop by our Discord and report any bugs you find. We will be working hard to iron these out as quick as possible.
• Thirdly, this is only the initial release. There are Twitch specific features which are not supported yet. We will be working to get new features implemented once we have ironed out bugs with current version.

v5.16.0-beta1 Update Notes

• Firebot now works with Twitch!
  • Here's a short list of what has gone into that:
    • Signing in with your Twitch accounts
    • Connecting to Twitch chat servers
    • Chat Feed
    • Custom Commands
    • Games
    • Events
    • Viewers page
    • Permission restriction
    • Most Mixer specific effects have been ported for Twitch
    • Got Command/Quote list profile page working on new https://firebot.app/ website
    • Added a !linkmixer system command which lets users merge their Firebot data ( uch as currencies, watch time, etc) from their Mixer user to their Twitch user
• Added a Phillips Hue integration

Important Notes

• You will have to re-setup your Permission restriction for mod only commands, this includes system commands too. For system commands you can click "reset to default" to quickly get an updated permission restriction.
• You can only whisper from the streamer account

Known Issues

• You need to restart Firebot after first logging into your twitch accounts
• You currently cant see the current viewer list or the current viewer count
• Some outlier effects and $variables might not function as expected
• You cant yet link Mixer/Twitch user data in the UI, only via the system command
• There's still some references to "Mixer" in some of the text/tooltips
